Health and financial information disclaimer
Mzansi Hub publishes general information about food supplements and short-term loans. It is written to inform, and it is no substitute for the advice of your GP, your pharmacist or a qualified financial adviser.
Are the supplements on this site medicines?
No. The products on our shelf are dietary supplements. They are food supplements in capsule form and are not medicines. They are described by what they are formulated to support, not as a replacement for any medical care.
Never stop or change a medicine your doctor has prescribed because of something you read here. If you take medicine for blood pressure, blood sugar or any other condition, keep taking it as directed and talk to your GP before adding a supplement.
Who should speak to a GP or pharmacist first?
A short conversation with your GP or pharmacist is a sensible step before any new supplement. It is especially important in the situations below.
- You take prescribed medicine, including blood-pressure, blood-sugar or blood-thinning medicine
- You are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding
- You have a medical condition or are waiting for a procedure
- You have an allergy or sensitivity to any ingredient listed on the pack
- You are under 18; the supplements are meant for adults unless your GP advises otherwise
What if I have symptoms?
If you have symptoms that worry you, such as chest discomfort, severe headaches, unusual thirst, or any change you cannot explain, see a doctor or go to your nearest clinic or emergency unit. Do not wait for a supplement to make a difference.
Should I read the pack and the directions?
Yes. The pack carries the full ingredient list with amounts and the directions for use. Check it for anything you are allergic to, follow the directions, and ask the adviser or your pharmacist if anything is unclear.
Are individual experiences the same for everyone?
People differ in age, health, diet and lifestyle, so one person’s experience of a supplement is personal to them. Nothing on this site predicts what you will experience.
Is the loan information financial advice?
No. Our loan pages are general information. They do not take your income, expenses or credit history into account. Borrowing costs money, and the lender decides whether to grant credit after its own assessment. Only borrow what you can repay, check that the lender is registered, and speak to a qualified adviser if you are unsure.
Frequently asked questions

Are the supplements suitable for children?
They are meant for adults. Speak to your GP before giving any supplement to someone under 18.
