How Mzansi Hub earns

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

Mzansi Hub is an independent affiliate publisher. We may earn a commission when you order a supplement through a seller’s order line or follow a link to a lender, and the price you pay is the same either way.

What are our affiliate relationships?

Supplements: the products on our shelf are offered by sellers through affiliate networks. When you enter your name and phone number on one of our product pages, the details go to the seller’s call centre, an adviser phones you to confirm the order, and a courier delivers it. If the order is completed, the network may pay us a commission.

Loans: the links on our lender pages are affiliate links. If you follow one and the lender later pays a commission for a customer it receives through that link, we may earn a share. The lender, not Mzansi Hub, takes the application and decides on credit.

Does it cost me more if I use your links?

No. The price of a supplement is the seller’s price, confirmed on the call together with any delivery charge. The cost of a loan is set by the lender and shown in your quote. Our commission is paid by the seller or the network, not added to what you pay.

Prices shown on the site are the seller’s prices at the time of writing and may change. The final total is the one the adviser confirms with you.

What does the commission not influence?

Commission does not change the facts we publish, the criteria in our editorial ratings or the way a customer opinion is displayed. It does not allow a seller or lender to edit our pages.

It also does not turn us into a seller. We do not stock or ship supplements, we do not take payment, and we do not grant credit. Those parts of the journey belong to the seller, the courier and the lender.

  • Facts come from packs, seller descriptions and provider offer cards
  • Editorial ratings follow the same five-criteria method for every product
  • Safety guidance, such as speaking to a GP or pharmacist, is always included
  • Loan pages always explain that borrowing costs money

How is my order handled and what is passed on?

When you submit an order form we pass your name and phone number, together with the product you chose, to the seller’s call centre through the affiliate network. We do this so the adviser can phone you, confirm the order, the delivery address and the total, and arrange the courier.

We do not collect card details on our site. Payment for supplements is made to the courier on delivery, and the way you pay is confirmed on the call. For how we look after your details, see the privacy policy.

Who do I ask about an order I have confirmed?

Once you have spoken to an adviser, questions about that order go to the adviser who called or to the courier, because they hold the order details. For anything about how our pages are written, or for a correction, write to contact@southafricaloans.co.za.

Frequently asked questions

Do you share my phone number with anyone else?

Your name and phone number are passed to the seller’s call centre and the affiliate network so your order can be confirmed and delivered. The privacy policy lists who else may handle technical data.
