About Mzansi Hub

Mzansi Hub is an independent editorial team that publishes plain-English supplement and short-term loan information for readers in South Africa. We are an affiliate publisher: we write, compare and explain, and the seller or lender handles the order or the credit decision.

Who runs Mzansi Hub?

Mzansi Hub is run by a small independent editorial team. We write under one shared voice, the Mzansi Hub editorial team, because the pages are produced to a common set of standards rather than as personal opinion pieces.

We are an affiliate publisher. That means we publish information and, where a reader chooses to act on it, we pass the reader on to a seller’s order line or to a lender’s own application journey. We do not run a shop, a warehouse, a pharmacy or a lending business.

What do we publish?

The site has two sections. The first is a pharmacy-style shelf of six food supplements in capsule form, grouped by what people look for: heart and blood pressure, blood sugar, men’s health and hair health. Each product page explains the format, the confirmed ingredients, how the capsules are used and how an order works.

The second section covers short-term loans. We describe three lenders using the facts that appear on their offer cards, and we publish guides on how short-term credit works, how to check a lender, what a loan really costs and what to do if repayments become difficult.

  • Product pages with an editorial rating built from five criteria, each scored out of 5
  • Customer opinions shown separately from our own rating
  • Guides on blood pressure, blood sugar, hair, men’s health and reading a supplement label
  • Lender pages and loan guides written for careful borrowers

How does Mzansi Hub make money?

We may earn a commission when a reader places an order through a seller’s order line, or follows one of our links to a lender and takes out a loan. The price the reader pays does not change because of that commission.

Commissions are what pay for the writing, editing and upkeep of the site. They do not decide what we describe or how we describe it. The details are on our advertising disclosure page, and the way we choose and describe offers is set out in our editorial policy.

What is Mzansi Hub not?

We are not the seller, the manufacturer, a pharmacy, a lender or a credit provider. We do not stock, pack or deliver any product, and we do not decide who gets credit. A supplement order is confirmed by the seller’s adviser and delivered by a courier. A loan is assessed and granted, or declined, by the lender.

We are also not a medical or financial adviser. Our pages are general information. Your GP or pharmacist knows your health history, and a registered credit provider or a qualified financial adviser can look at your finances.

Why do we write the way we do?

Most people reading about a supplement or a loan are in the middle of something: a blood-pressure reading that made them stop, a month that ran out before payday, a parent they are trying to help. We keep the language plain, the paragraphs short and the facts specific so a reader can decide in a few minutes what to do next.

We write in South African English and use local measures and examples, such as Rands, mmol/L for blood sugar and mmHg for blood pressure. Where a fact is not known to us, we say that the pack or the adviser will confirm it rather than guess.

How can I contact the Mzansi Hub team?

Write to contact@southafricaloans.co.za. We read every message, and we welcome corrections, questions about how a page is written and suggestions for guides you would like to see.

We do not publish a phone number or a street address. If your question is about an order you have already confirmed, the adviser who called you and the courier are the right people to ask, because they hold the order details.

Frequently asked questions

Is Mzansi Hub a pharmacy or a shop?

No. Mzansi Hub is an independent information site. Orders for the supplements shown here are taken on our product pages and passed to the seller’s call centre, which confirms the order and arranges delivery.

Does Mzansi Hub lend money?

No. We are not a lender or a credit provider. We describe lenders and explain how to compare them. The lender decides whether to grant credit.

Do you charge readers to use the site?

No. Reading the site costs nothing, and the price you pay a seller or lender is not increased by our links.
